LA Hair: OUTSTANDING ‼️‼️‼️‼️������������������������������������

I am so happy to write my first ever review. ����I had been struggling with finding a "real" stylist for my hair. I've been to "Hades" and back with previous stylists. I've had orange hair, poofy hair, and purple hair... all the while paying good money for awful hair styles. My husband magically found me a "Genie."

When I visited LA Hair at Genie's salon in Sandy Springs, GA, my hair care worries that had plagued me and my husband for years disappeared in an instant. I usually do not write reviews about businesses but my experience at her hair salon warrants comments from me. As soon as I walked into the salon, I realized that I was dealing with a professional who was focused on improving the health and condition of my hair, as well as, ensuring that my hair was beautifully styled and easy to maintain.

I was very impressed with the time and effort Genie spent during my initial one-on-one consultation with her. Though she asked lots of questions about my hair, I was given ample opportunities to discuss my concerns. My husband also attended the consultation and immediately said to me on the way to the car that he thought our hair woes were coming to an end. He was also impressed with the bright and professional atmosphere in her salon, in a beautiful building with ample parking, in the heart of Sandy Springs.

Genie styles your hair, gives you tips on the best care for your hair and you get free history lessons. Genie is very knowledgeable in all subject areas. She's a jewel and a true friend. Genie is a "real" genie, with two exceptions: she doesn't live in a bottle or lamp. Thank you Genie for rescuing my hair. Love you, Chris

I have being looking for a way to have longer hair (after loosing a lot of hair due to a bad service and stress) for quite sometime. Last time I tried 3 girls and a needle and I just waste money to have it take down the very same day because looked so horrible. I made an appointment for a consultation and after explain exacly what I was looking for Mrs. Genie told me she could deliver it.



While she might be too honest and a little rough, she has a kind heart and feel happy when you are happy with the results.



The technique she uses leaves some of your hair out, you have to be aware that you do have to take care of your own hair and make sure you either buy a VERY good hair someplace else or buy the hair in advance for her and make sure that it matches the lenght, texture and the color you are looking for. Be prepare to spend half or most of the day on the chair, you dont want have something done in one hour and look like you are wearing a wig...



Genie iis knowledgeable and you can see the pictures on her website and on the new location of past clients that looks real good.



She works by appointment only and if for some reason you can't make it I highly recommend that you let her know at least 3-4 business day in advance, as we do not like to waste time she doesnt either.

I am a very picky person and she delivered what I was aiming for.



You also need to have realistic expectations, while you should look for a skilled profissinal, you also have to consider that you are adding hair that is not yours and you need to treat you hair and the added hair with a lot of care.

After the enhancement is done you can come back if something needs to be fixed, she is very good about it and try her best to accomodate her costumers needs.

The owner/technician (Genie) is vertually impossible to deal with. She is extremely abrupt, borderlining on rude, and I would have never used her if I weren't under extreme duress at the time. And heaven forbid you can't make your appointment and try to reschedule (I got called into work), she acted like it was a personal insult and didn't bother to call me back. Overall, Genie was so unpleasant I wound up cutting my extensions out just so I wouldn't have to deal with her again.

I have never taken the time to write a review on a business before, but I had to share what a great experience I had at LA Hair. I have never had hair extensions before, but had wanted them for a very long time to enhance my brunette hair, which is fine, wavy, and frizzy in nature. I did my "google research" online for quite a while, and finally decided to visit Genie at LA Hair...I am SO GLAD I did!! She gave me exactly what I wanted - NATURAL looking extensions that look exactly like my hair, only much much better. When I went for my free consultation, I had been very impressed with how thorough she was in examining my hair, and finding the exact match of hair to use for my extensions. I also love the fact that you are the only client she works on, so you have her complete attention and privacy.

As I sit here and write this review, I am in seventh heaven enjoying my new head of hair :-) They feel so comfortable on that there have been times I even forget they are in my hair! I highly recommend her to anyone considering hair enhancements - she knows so much about her profession, and shares her knowledge with you, so you come out completely educated on the process. I'm SO glad I did my research and found Genie! I plan on being a regular client of hers for a very long time!

Hands down this is truely a bless woman who has hair extensions down to a science. She was very professional and friendly. I was also impressed with how she does her scheduling. Believe me you are treated like an client who's time is taking in the upmost respect that woman of all types wants and deserve when we enter a salon. I enjoy just listening to her advice she is full of knowledge beyond hair...Please just call and see for yourself what Im talking about. The extensions look so natural. I can wash, relax, style it and not have to remove them for three months.
