I actually used this company about 3 months ago to install a cage over my A/C unit at a rental property. They were prompt, courteous and I was satisfied with their work. However, around 12/12, I needed their services again and called upon them to install another cage around the crawl space door since it was broken into a few days prior. I got a return call on 12/13 from someone named Donald who agreed to meet me the same day and he did. We met, I explained the job to him, and also asked that he install locks. The total job was just $300 and I was promised that the work would be done in a few days. Given that they had done good work before, I was comfortable paying the $300 upfront. (BAD IDEA!) The next day, I got a call from Ms. Stephens asking me some fairly probing questions such as "did someone call me?" and "How much was I quoted for the job?". Striking me as strange, I asked why these questions and learned that Donald had been fired over that weekend. I was stunned knowing that I had already paid this guy the money to do the work. Upon learning this, I expected Ms. Stephens to offer to get the job done, but the focus became what she could get from me such as an invoice or cancelled check so they could prosecute. Donald disappeared for a few days off and on, but finally installed the locks around 12/17. I continued to ask Donald when I would get the cage on the crawl space, but never did. I also left one final message for the Stephens asking if they could make this right, but never got a return call after that - perhaps it was because my focus was not on a cancelled check. Just yesterday, on 12/22, I went to check my property and it was vandelized via the crawlspace. While I take responsibility for not moving fast enough to beat the crooks to stealing copper and furnace parts, I do hold the Stephens and Donald responsible for not caring about their customers and poor business practices. Lesson learned for me - Never again pay upfront regardless of previous experience with a company and use reputable companies. Cheap isn't always the best - I now have to buy a new furnace and still find a company to secure the crawlspace door.

Please do not go here or call the Stevens. These people call themselves Christian, the man suppose to be a reverend, he seems nice but him & his wife are evil and do not conduct good business. The wife is mean and very disrespectful. She gets your money and wont get help to finish the job. Do not use these people at all. Their business sucks. They dont have adequate help. So if you need bars up right away. Do not use them. I gave them my deposit 7 days ago & they still haven't completed the job. You think they would follow up with a phone call or something and they don't. They have you waiting and waiting and when you call them, they have an attitude. The woman talks a hundred miles per hour, she doesn't listen to what you need and she thinks she knows everything. If you question her, she hangs up on you. I repeat, if you are Christian, remember this verse (if you do not maintain good works or good deeds, you have stopped bearing good fruit for God (matt. 3:10)). I am in the process of suing them. They will not give money back, give you a run around, not professiional at all. No wonder the lady was let go from her Underwriting job she claimed she had. She is very rude and yes, the guy that suppose to have came and worked was in jail for separating his woman's legs. Why would a company tell their customers details like this. Do not, I repeat use this company.

I had this company install burglar bars at my home. They never came on the date scheduled. After getting "the run around" they finally showed. One of the workers was drunk and was arguing with one of the workers. They finally completed the job. The next morning I was awakened by broken patio door glass. I called the next day to tell them what happened and they denied breaking the glass. Finally after going back and forth with them, they finally came to get the broken frame but has yet to return to install new glass. They did not even attempt to pick up the broken glass that was left behind.

I hired this company to place bars on my brand new house. I decided to go with white bars because I thought they would be more appealing to the eye. The bars were made and installed in a timely manner. HOWEVER, the paint job was absolutely hideous. Immediately after installation, I informed the company that the paint job was unsatisfactory and unacceptable. The company returned on a different occassion with a PAINT BRUSH and attempted to "touch-up" the paint. Again I expressed my dissatisfaction and the company promised to take the bars down and paint them over explaining that because the bars are white they needed more attention. After a few weeks the bars started to rust and needless to say the company never returned to correct the hideous paint job. I've complained to the Better Business Bureau and their attempts to mediate also went unanswered. I am so upset and disappointed that I have bars on my brand new home with a horrible paint job and rusting. I had to hire another company to come un-install, paint, and re-install after paying East Atlanta Burgular Bar Co more than $2500 cash! I wish I could attach pictures for your review.
