I recently moved to the Virginia Highlands area and have been looking for a place to do my shopping I think Ive found it. When I walked in, I really felt comfortable. Even if the clothing wasnt always my cup of tea, there were a few pieces that really stuck out. The store itself can feel a bit like a diamond in the rough, and I didnt expect how much Id love it. The women who work there made great suggestions and seemed to really know what they were doing. Always a welcome change. Ive recommended Dakota J's to a few of my girlfriends hopefully theyll love it as much as I do.

I was looking for a present for one of my friends and I happened to wander into Dakota J's. Initially, I was a bit overwhelmed by the clothing and jewelry. It was everywhere!!! But as I looked through it all, there were definitely some beautiful, extremely wearable pieces. The prices were reasonable for boutique shopping, certainly beating out some of the nearby boutiques I’d been in. And I guess it went well because my friend loved her present!
