Great independent book store. I love the old school book store feel and smell. The staff is helpful and it is easy to browse around and get lost in the books.

Charis is an atlanta institution- the best selection of feminist, progressive, lgbtq books in the area-what Outwrite is for men, Charis is for women. Plus they sponsor amazing events, speakers, workshops, and writing groups. The staff are helpful and smart and the community bulletin board has lots of good local contacts. Highly recommended.
