I have used Cato's for years, having had a Neiman Marcus shoe salon associate recommend them. They have always done excellent work, at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this business.

I took a pair of boots ($450 boots to be exact) in to have zippers put in the back.... simple process. I was quoted $125 to have the zippers put in. When I received the boots back (2 months later rather than the promised 2 weeks) the left boot no longer fit and was too tight. This was very dissapointing since both boots fit perfectly when I dropped them off. I took them back and asked that they be adjusted to fit better. I picked them up 3 weeks later and was not pleased with the "revisions" but took them home. After zipping and unzipping the boots 3 times both zippers broke off. I took the boots back to have the zipper pulls replaced (again) and asked for better zippers. 4 weeks later (I was told it would only take one week) I picked the boots up. The left boot still did not fit and the zippers were coming apart at the seams pulling loose from the boots. Again I left the boots to be "fixed." When I went to pick the boots up (for the 4th time) the zippers had been replaced but are now extremely uneven and look terrible. The boots are ruined and unwearable.



Bottom line.... terrible terrible quality, even worse customer service. Don't waste your money
