Shogun is a dissapointment in terms of food quality and cleanliness. Most dishes are typical Japanese American in terms of variety and tradition (meaning: not too traditional).



Again..as with many restaurants trying to serve sushi and sashimi..the freshness and quality of the raw fish is not sushi quality. Better to serve it cooked or prepared in some other way than raw. The odors coming from wipe rags cleaning tables..and coming from the kitchen area were nauseating.



Apparently the locals patronize Shogun regularly enough to keep it in business..but my Japanese wife and friends said that they wouldn't choose to eat there again.
