Amen Acres is an okay place to board your horse. I wouldn't recommend it because when I boarded there, there were a few things that would like to change. There was an incident when I had my horse in the pasture and she was kicked on her leg. I was out there within the next two days and no one had told me that she needed a vet. The vet told us that it was a few days old and that it was infected. I couldn't ride for about three weeks. That took away the insurance that I could come out there every few days and not have to worry about her. So I switched to a run. Everything was okay except when it rained, the horses are standing in mud halfway up to there knee. The runs are not very large and the horses were being fed hay that was not satisfying at all. it pretty much crumbled in your hand. My horses lost weight and started to eat the shavings in there shelter. The horses were getting fed grain twice a day but it was different people feeding every time. So they did not know what your horse needed so my horses were eating sweet feed and wood shavings with crappy hay. I also had a lungeline stolen from me from the tack room which was upsetting. They do have a very nice trainer there that knows what shes doing, I would recommend her. They have a nice arena and wash station. But overall I would not recommend boarding your horse at Amen Acres
