Working with the Potomac Yard location of Massage Envy was the worst experience of customer service that I have ever experienced. As is understandable, there is a no-show fee. With that being said, I allowed ample time to arrive and followed the directions based on the link on the website. However, the directions on THEIR website was incorrect and I ended up driving around lost for more than an hour and consequently missing the appt (sorry, no in-car GPS). I called the location for directions and the receptionist was incapable of giving directions for their immediate vicinity or even finding someone who could help. I found out later that I was less than 5 minutes away!! Despite the effort, I am still going to be charged for the no-show fee and the manager still had the audacity to invite me to still come back when they could not give directions and are still charging me for the appt. when they knew all the circumstances and despite the very strong effort to not miss the appt! They still need to get the kinks out! Getting an appointment with a favorite therapist can be difficult. Before committing to the annual fee, make sure this works for you scheduling wise, and calculate whether you are actually saving any money. In my case not saving, not convenient, and no flexiablity. I probably won't renew next year.
