These are the kind of people that make so many detest Christians. Rude, pushy, holier than thou, behind the times...they've got it all. I was interested because it was close, but just listening to the procedural details involved with one of their "ministries" was horrifying. They were going to put leaflets on doors. OK. Actually, they were going to have kids knock on doors and keep doing it until someone responded. In a "no soliciting" apartment complex. "We follow a higher law". Uh, that's just being lawless, people. God doesn't command you to violate peoples' privacy. I asked if that didn't make people mad. "Oh, yeah, that's why we take an 'enforcer'", and pointed out to me a burly African soccer player. Everything they did was pushy, rude and sometimes illegal. But they're justified. Right.

The pastor is some kind of relic from the 19th century. If you like "classic hell and brimstone" shouting at you, rent one of the classics. There's no reason to put up with these superficial hypocrites and their pastor swearing at you for it.

I highly recommend this church...if you want to lose your faith!

TBC Arlington is an old fashioned Bible believing fundamental Baptist Church. It truly is old fashioned church like it used to be! Not everyone is looking for that kind of worship, but if you are than this is the place for you. The congregation sings out of old fashion Hymn Books, and not a "follow the bouncing ball" screen! KJV only from the pulpit and the pew. Friendly & welcoming to all, but yes expect preaching that condemns SIN, not the sinner (which we all are). Pastor Lasseter is one of the most compassionate & caring people that I have ever been acquainted with.
