I love Mexican food and have been to a lot of restaurants... but, I have to say that Abuelo's is my absolute favorite. I haven't had anything I don't like on the menu. The first time I went, my kids didn't like what they ordered from the kids menu... but, we ordered them something from the regular menu and they loved it. This is the only Mexican restaurant my kids love to go to now. Their desserts are very tastey too.
Oh, and if that wasn't enough, the staff is always great.
We eat at Abuelo's about once a month. In five years of eating at Abuelo's, we have never been sick or had bad service or food.
When we move to California next summer, we will truly miss this dining experience.

Food is ok. Had a very Accommodating server Shandra She was super friendly and very efficient. However management is horrible had a young guy in glasses yelling at employees right in front of the customers. And when I asked for his name he walked off.I've had better experiences elsewhere

I haven't been disappointed yet. Its as good as can be expected from this type of restaurant. I will return.

love their food, especially the Durango! Fast and excellent service

Had heard great things about this place for years but finally got a chance to try it out. Was stranded at a hotel near this restaurant while our car was being repaired and had only choices of places within walking distance. Our choices were IHOP, Saltgrass, On the Border and Outback and since We LOVE mexican food thought we'd try this place. Should have gone to IHOP. Ordered chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce, got some enchiladas with green sauce and a squiggle of sour cream on top, they were a soggy mush and I never found any chicken in them. The loaded nachos were dry and so hard you could barely chew them, the condiments for the quesadilla were brown, yuck! Not worth the money. Will choose Taco Bell over this place any day.

My husband an I love this place! They have awesome food, its always hot and fresh and takes no time for it to get to your table! Abuelos has THE best service of any resturant i think ive ever been to they are ALWAYS nice and polite and never leave your glass empty!! Great

I frequented this place often. There was a few months where I probably ate there once a week. Never had a complaint with the service at all. In fact they must only hire the most friendliest waiters/waitresses because I can't recall a single problem on that end.



However, I got food poisoning from a plate I ordered around June-July of 2007. Since then, I have not went back. I don't think I ever will. The sickness that I went through made such a lasting impression on me that I can't recommend this place to anyone.
