Great little place. Has amazing food and a real Mexico feel. I feel like I'm there on vacation again. Great!

Very expensive for Mexican food. Margaritas aren't very potent.

Javier's, formerly La Chicanita, has been our family favorite for over 25 years. Their salsa and guacamole are AWESOME, and every dish I've every had is delicious. Their margaritas are to die for! We've never had a problem with the service (as mentioned in another review), however nowadays reservations are highly recommended on the weekend as the wait can be quite long.

Outstanding food, service needs improvement

I recentley visited this restaurant with my family. I had been here previously and had absolutely not complaints. Unfortunatley during this visit the service was terrible! We were a group of 8 adults, the waitress did not bother to check how we were doing until after we requested something. I addressed this with the hostess and her response was just as terrible. The food is great, but the service could definitely improve.

The food is an excellent blend of flavors. My friend that loves Mole, says this is the best anywhere.
