I have eat deep dish pizza for years and you must have caught a bad experience, I have gone there for lunch and dinner it is the BEST pizza in Asheville. They do seem to be under new managment and it feels much more pleasent.

We had to wait some time before getting the pizza, which was understandable as it was "supposed" to be deep dish. We were deeply disappointed when we received it. This is not deep dish! They make the crust high so it looks like deep dish. The crust was not done all the way. There was nothing fresh about it, everything was canned ingredients, and there was way to much sauce. You get charged more for deep dish, but get about the same thing as if you ordered it regular. We also observed waitresses going out for their smoke break and then come back in and continiue to work without even washing their hands. Terrible experience; we will not return or recommend.

I came in 5 times and it is unbelievable!! I ordered the deep dish pizza and it was to die for. Then we came in and ordered the thin crust and it was awesome. There deserts are fresh and the best for the money espicially the cookie monster oh my!! The manager nathan is awesome I have seen him in a couple of restaraunts he runs them right, I will always follow what he does because he has a great attitude and hires a great staff. Owners you did well with him. VITOS IS THE BEST PLACE PERIOD TO GO AND GET A GREAT LUNCH OR DINNER WITH A GREAT MENU!! GREAT JOB!!

I was born and raised right in the middle of Chicago, and I know my pizza and this is not even close. I had the 2 slice lunch special, thick crust style, the dough was undercooked, the cheese was not melted, and from the 2 slices I scraped off 1/2 cup of sauce and I still had plenty of sauce on them. I was really dissapointed, I really wanted some Chicago pizza in Asheville NC. I can only hope that the Italian beef are better.
