I was told that they DO NOT add any amount to a customer's bill without PRIOR approval. This is NOT what I experienced at all. I had a budget limit and when I got the bill, it was 45 dollars more than what was okayed and then of course tax on top of that when I thought it was going out the door amt. Then I had to bring it back because it STILL did not pass smog, I had brought the car in to find out what it would cost to pass smog. I was given a range. That was the # that increased $45 without approval. Anyway, I was told an amt but when I got the bill it was 140 not 130, with tax it came to 161 and change. Then a few days later, the ck engine Lt came back on and this time it was a faulty part. They got another and put that in. A few days later, same thing! This time when I brought it back I sd I had no money left and no point to look under the dash. They sd it was prob wiring they could do for free.Then a $10 sensor became a $49 bill. She scoffed when I sd I didn't ok it!! I won't b bk

I would recommend going somewhere else. This "company" does not care at all about taking care of their customers. I purchased a engine from them on 2/26/2015, it is 4/8/2015 and I am still getting the run around on the core charge. The first thing they did was quote me one price and then next thing I know they want to charge me more. Ok, fine. I need the engine and I was given the choice between two. One with higher miles than the one I had issues with, which all of the sudden was the one they said they were quoting me to begin with. Or I can pay a lot more money for one that has lower miles. This wasn't discussed with me at all until the time of purchase. Then they charged me a core charge for the engine, which they didn't tell me about until I was paying for the engine. ok, fine. They have had the core back in there shop for over a MONTH. They REFUSE to give me my core because they haven't sent the old engine back yet, and when they do, they will get their check from the people they bought it from and THEN I can get my core charge back. What the hell is that? I didn't purchase it from their supplier, I didn't pay their supplier the core charge. I paid it to them. They owe me the money. The owner for some reason doesn't understand how that works. I told her that I am her customer and I paid her the core charge. She owes me the money back because she has the core. Done deal. She still refuses to refund my core charge. I suggest saving your time and money and finding an honest shop to do business with. On a side note, I didn't have the engine installed by them. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. She also tried to tell me that my mechanic was her customer, not me. Yet I am the one that went into her shop and paid for the engine, core charge and tax. Not my mechanic. It is my name on their receipt, not my mechanics.
