The service was great they did a good job!

We moved to Apollo Beach and hired The Real Maids to perform their most comprehensive "move-in" cleaning service for $459. I put a lock-box on the door, and trusted them to perform the services when we were not home to monitor them.

We arrived at the house the evening before the moving company arrived and if it weren't for the toilet paper being folded into a little triangle I would not have thought anyone even showed up.

I texted Erika and was told that she would have them come out to re-do the work. I explained that I had a full moving team coming at 8am and that would not work - I was going to have to perform much of the work myself that night. Not a single cabinet or drawer was cleaned, inside or out, the baseboards were not touched (despite the description saying they would all be hand-washed), the light switches were not washed, the oven was not wiped out, and so on. The house is only 8 most old and was already good shape - which makes me think the team felt they could get away with not doing anything, but that should have made the job that much easier!

The next day I was called to reschedule the team to come back out. I explained that I had done much of the work myself and that I wanted a partial refund, and was told "that is unfortunate as we do not give refunds." I informed him that I would be providing honest reviews on social media but still nothing.

Later I texted Erika and she provided a 10% refund, which I accepted, although it was less than fair and equivalent. She asked that I still consider them in the future, as these things happen. So on August 29th, I emailed her to have the team come back out and complete the work they did not do, as she had proposed. To this date, Sept 6th, I have not received any response. I am utterly disappointed, and as a former small business owner I would have promptly replied, and either had my team out there ASAP or provided a full refund. Unfortunately I cannot recommend The Real Maids at all.
