I went to Quarter Note in Apex to inquire about a trombone for my daughter's music class. A suggestion was made by a staff member to purchase a used one that they had there in the store. I was also told Quarter Note would buy back the instrument although it would be at a lower price than our purchase price. I decided that was a fair option so I purchased it. My daughter shortly after that switched classes and was no longer in need of the trombone. When I went to return the instrument , I was told by the owner that they only sometimes buy back the instrument and she had several already and was not interested in buying it back. I then told her what I was told and emphasized that that was the reason I purchased it in the first place. She laughed and said "I don't guarantee that" and when I told her that I would be telling other parents my experience she began to tell me how well she knows the teacher and how she knows 100's of people who attend the same school....she was just extremely unprofessional and I feel as though I was told about the buy back just to make a sale. She offered no help or apology. I am so disappointed with this company.
