I have this amazing lady @ Red Rover in Lake Villa. We board Brousko for 54 days while we're in Europe. She plays with him, he has his own dog run, he has play time with his friends... great deal and just down the street. She's even emailed photo's of Brousko for the kids... cuz they missed him. She's summer cut him and then groom him right before pick up. LOVE RED ROVER... it's worth the trip to Lake Villa!! Amazing boarding for a dog you love!! We also groom at Red Rover!! Super cute cuts!! No bloody paws ever!! Some places which clip nails are not as careful and cautious. Bruce is never terrified going there... he wags and wags. Great prices.... Red Rover is very competitive and will even work with you. I wish there were more mom/pop places like this!! The owner's even told us how to get bargain's on on vet procedures and where to go for the best price!! Wa? Yes, this is this kinda place. Your pet will love RED ROVER as we do!!! Thank you so much!! We will continue to take our pet and future pets to this amazing and non- corporate neighborhood establishment!!

My Max has been boarding since she was a pup. She is so excited to see Sheila and can't wait to go back into the kennel. She is a fussy eater and Sheila always makes sure she finishes her meal. She always gets groomed before she comes home. She is so fluffy and smells great!

Finally we find an excellent! Groomer! but also a fantastic Lady! who is awesome! with our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and very friendly! with people skills to match! so we couldn't ask for more than that.feeling happy & relieved :-)

I've been taking my puppy to Red Rovers ever since I got her. She comes homes smelling sweetly, clean and happy.Sheala is a great dog person, so kind and so knowledgeable. My daughter has taken her Shih tsu there and she has come home clipped perfectly and looking cute as can be. I recommend this groomer highly.

The owner is so friendly and very helpful. I take my big dog (St. Bernard) there to use their self-serve dog wash. I love it because they provide everything you need (towel, brushes, nail clippers, shampoo) but the best part is the tub and professional grooming dryer. She comes in and checks on us and offers help and advice with grooming. Just call ahead of time to check if the self serve is available and they'll be able to recommend when to come in. I like giving my dog a bath myself and even more when I take him there.

I have four large dogs. I went to another kennel in the area and was told I had to take two of them to and from the kennels myself and that they wouldn't receive any human contact because of their disposition. They are all sweet dogs and have never bitten any one. I was upset by this and tried Red Rover's. I was told that they were all good when they boarded and i witnessed the one lady clip my one dogs nails all by herself with no problems (it used to take four people to pin him down at the vet and one lady did it by herself!!!) I have recommended this place to a few friends and they have all been pleased with their services!!

This place looks very well equipped for grooming but not for boarding!! The cages were vary small and did not look clean or sanitary! I felt bad for the dogs in there. Pay a few bucks more and get a more sanitary place.
