I have taken my dog, Chinese Shar Pei, here for about 1 1/2 yrs. Dr Codde and her entire staff are all wonderful caring people. I highly recommend them for your pets.

Horrible money hungry cold staff Im my opinion. My daughter took her very ill dog there who was seizing up and they said they wouldnt treat her without the money up front. Thats not suprising with ANY vet but thats not my complaint. My complaint is they were going the extra mile with being rude about it. Meanwhile my daughter was on the phone with other vets to get help for her dog and cherry creek had her dog in the exam room. They only Checked her temperature and had her in front of a small fan And sprayed water on her My daughter thought they werent going to treat her but they still demanded 49.00 for the office visit.?? Then My daughter called me crying saying they wouldnt release her dog until she paid them. I called the office and spoke with a rude staff member. I asked her if they were refusing to give my daughter her dog And were they at least treating her and not just having her lying on the floor dying?? Then i asked to speak to the vet herself. The vet got on the phone and even giggled while telling me my daughter was mistaken and she could take her dog but still needed to pay theM The invoice. While i was on the phone with the vet The rude staFF Lady told my daughter" That because her mother called it was going to be even LONGER to take her dog".They told her that her dog will die if she doesnt raise the money for vet costs. All in all this was a horrible experience with this establishment. I dont believe they have alot of compassion for animals or their owners. I would not go there again.

I took my dog in there in an emergency after it was in shock after routine vaccines. On his death bed they took him right back and started working on him. They were very pleasant and accomadating. The cost was reasonable for bringing him back to life only 400.00 and recomended pre treatment for the next two vaccines we brought him back for the next ones and he did wonderfull. I will go back anytime I need to. The vets have to make money its a business it what they go to all that school for they just can't give away they're services. If your a resposible pet owner get pet insurance and take care of them. Don't complain about the costs it comes in raising a pet. For me this place is wonderful.... thank you for taking care of my dog

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE ! I made this mistake upon moving here..i will FOREVER REGRET bringing my sick animal to this horror shop. I brought my dog here to have a small bump examined. I was given a $2,300 list of tests that they advised were necessary to properly diagnose what was wrong. The only procedure i could afford was an aspiration which was $480. The vet called to advise the results came back positive for cancer. I reqested a consult to speak with her in person, i needed to know my options and was upset. During this consult the vet was very uncompassionate and cold and said unless i was willing to pay for the additional tests, ( that they knew i couldn't afford) she said my dog would suffer until he died or was euthanized. She then told me while aspirating his lump, she ordered an aspiration of his nodes and glands, but would not send for evaluation unless I paid another $400, that she clearly knew I couldn't afford!! I GAVE NO PERMISSION FOR THIS PROCEDURE AND MY DOG WHO WAS SCARED AND IN PAIN HAD TO ENDURE IT FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON!!! I left the exam room in tears and was then abruptly stopped and slapped with a final bill for the consult!!!!!!!! My dog died in peace at my home with the help of DR. JENNY RUTAN, A MOBILE VET from Roseville, Ca........she was an ANGEL ON EARTH...please contact her if you want a Veternarian who cares for animals with compassion and love.

I am and have been a customer of Dr Parker for over 20 years and she has taken care of 6 cats and 2 dogs I have owned over those years. I have always found her to be more than reasonable in the costs and extremely kind in the treatment of my animals. There is no one else I would trust with the care of my animals.



An animal broke through a fence and attacked another dog. We all know no matter how careful we are that any pet can get out of a yard but as pet parents we are responsible for any damage that is done. An animal who was so severely attacked that it required a such a large amount of intervention and in spite of all that treatment, died anyway? This gives an indication of the severity of the attack.



I would imagine Dr. Parker offered a discount to the pet owner not having any legal recourse to the person who was responsible for the attack on this animal. Since the person responsible was unwilling to pay the expenses, I am sure Dr. Parker wanted to spare the owner, who had already lost his pet, any further emotional distress. It was also probably obvious by that point, she was going to have to eat the cost of many of the services already provided. If it was your animal that was attacked I would imagine you would want the same level of care.

Look at the reviews below. There are 5 comments with 5 stars all from the same date 3/23/10. The ones below and above are bad reviews all with large gaps in time. Most of the reviews are bad except the ones THEY write about themselves. Use your brain, it is clear the 5 stars are all from the same person, on the same date. For gods sake they are all on the same day. Despite how immoral this is, the level of stupidity for someone to try and boost there ratings but do it on the same day is just crazy. LOLOLOLO They have a crappy rating even after dishonestly writing a bunch of good ones themselves. This kind of business practice is misleading and ineffective when people like me call them out on it. These people have already lied and cheated you before you even picked up the phone. That has to be a record. The "decay of our community" award goes to Cherry Creek Veterinary Hospital.

Just bad, very bad. Harsh treatment of my dog, angry people. Tried to rip me, and others off. Please see other reviews. VCA only for now on. Told me to put my dog down when all he ended up having was an infection treated in 1 week with antibiotics. Sad old people run this place.

I have had too many bad experiences here and at this time would not recommend them to anyone who truly loves their pet. Dr. Parker is great but the other vets I've had to deal with are anything but professional and caring about my pet. Too bad Dr. Parker is now only working a couple days a week. It sure shows! I will be taking my pet and business elsewhere from now on. I've heard from others the decline in care and bad experiences as well.

Dr. Parker at Cherry Creek Vet Hospital saved the life of my cat, Claire and her 5 new born kittens. I had neglected to do the responsible thing and spay my cat. After multiple litters, Claire was going to have her final one. I watched Claire birth 3 kittens on a Saturday night and woke to find one more Sunday morning. Unfortunately, Claire had also pushed out her tired and overworked uterus! I wasn't sure what to do so I called the Cherry Creek Vet Hospital & they took me immediately. Dr. Parker was gentle and understanding.......to me! I was a wreck! I felt so guilty for allowing this to happen to my cat. Dr. Parker consoled me and let me know that Claire would be just fine but that they would have to remove Claire's uterus and the kitten that was still inside!!! Did I say I was a wreck? Well, Claire is fat and healthy and her kittens were beautiful! Thank you Dr. Parker and staff for doing such a wonderful job in helping keep a mommy and her babies alive. Thank you for your care, your concern and your efficiency not only for my cat, but for me as well. I truly am blessed to have a vet like Dr. Parker!

I love Dr. Parker, and have used her for over 20 years. She always explains things thoroughly, in a way you can understand and never rushes. Her staff are the most caring I have run across. She has done wonders for my ancient cat Panda who after some bad kidney problems and being at the brink of death is now frisking around. Her ethics are spot on and she's always up front with the cost of a procedure and alternatives before you make the decision. The kennel care is good too. I never worry about my pets when I am on vacation.

My husband and I have had 8 dogs cared for by Dr. Paula Parker and her staff during the last 15 years. We always have had exceptional service, and their level of knowledge is outstanding. It is a top notch hospital, and I have recommended it many times to family and friends. Elizabeth M.

I have had animals all of my life - I'm in my late 40's - and have been to several veterinary clinics in several cities. I have lived in the Sac area for the last 8 years and have been taking my pets to Cherry Creek for the last 6. It has always been a wonderful experience for both myself and my pets. The staff are very friendly and courteous, the veterinarians are knowledgeable and compassionate, and the place is so clean!!! I have had pretty complicated cases with 2 of my dogs and the doctors were willing to research and treat them with the utmost concern and professional care. I would not take my animals anywhere else and I recommend Cherry Creek to everyone!
