I have only kenneled my dog once and will never again after this experience. When I picked up my dog from this kennel he STUNK!!! It was so bad I took him straight to my groomer and begged them to give him a bath. I was told by them that my dog who normally hates baths jumped right into the tub.

I have boarded my two dogs at Armstrong Ranch Kennels during all out of town trips over the last two years. Both my Greyhound and German Shepard do great. They get excited when we pull which is a sign they are well taken care of during their stay. The staff is very nice, professional and you can tell are dog lovers. The kennels are warm and clean. Though they shed like crazy after their stay I'm reassured that they are happy and healthy while I'm away.

Beautiful facility with ample grounds. Worth a visit just to see the setting.

I have used Armstrong Kennels for over 20 years and they do a wonderful job keeping our pets,always clean and always nice.###I recomend to all who board their pets when going on vacation..

I brought my 15 year old dog there last year for the first (and last) time. She was there for four weeks. When I got her back she was a total wreck. She had horrible diarrhea, was vomiting, and she had lost 5 pounds (she went from 20 pounds down to 15 pounds, a 25% loss of weight in 4 weeks)! I ended up spending several hundred dollars on vet bills to get her healthy again. She had 2 different intestinal viruses that had to be treated 3 times to finally overcome. She also had to have an IV bag to hydrate her as she was in very bad shape. When I called to inquire what the heck happened, the man (who I believe was the manager) said she was perfectly healthy when she left and must have developed all of her sypmtoms in the time it took to drive her home. He denied she was ill at all. BEWARE!
