I found Temporaries Now through applying for one of their position listings on Washington Post Online Jobs, and they've been really great to me. They've gotten me several temporary positions that have given me work experience I sorely need. The staff are really nice and easy to talk to, and not only do they look for positions that match your skills, they also provide assistance with your own job search. It's true their interview process is long; but that is so they can get to know you as a person, and what skills you have to offer, in order for them to find a job that you would enjoy. My only complaint is that there is no way for you to search what open positions they're trying to fill. You have to wait for them to contact you with an offer, which can occasionally lead to days, even weeks, of waiting for them to call.

I interviewed with them in July. The same day I was scheduled for an appointment with my current employer -- who hired me on the spot. I was working the next day. While I'm sure this is not the norm, they did explain that they get calls regularly from current and new clients who need staffing help. They know their stuff!

Impressed! If you are looking for recruiters that actually care about YOU and not just the bottom line, this is the place to go. As people have mentioned, the interview process is long but I found it to be so beneficial. They really got to know me and know what I was searching for. As someone re-entering the workforce after not working for awhile, I can say that working with Temporaries Now was the best choice I made. They gave me great advice and tips on improving my resume, general professionalism and more. Plus, they already have some temporary assignments lined up to get me started. Wahoo! :)

They got me a job!

I interviewed at Temporaries Now on a Thursday back in early August. While the process was lengthy and thorough, it was WELL WORTH IT! They placed me at temp position that following Monday and by Friday of the end of that week, I was hired full time! I am very grateful to Temporaries Now for taking the time and effort to get to know me and test me on various programs so I could know my strengths and weaknesses. They have a unique process and are unlike any other staffing agency. My boss has told me several times that he appreciates the thorough process Temporaries Now does to select only the very best candidates. If you are looking for anything full time, part time, temporary or permanent... I would send your resume to Temporaries Now.

It is a complete waste of time, they posted these ads, my qualifications were proven on the 3.5 hour tests, so why didnt I hear anything? Maybe, because they want a whole bunch of people just sitting and waiting for when they actually get enough work.

They have all these ads on the Washington Post and other sites about many jobs open, but not communicating with anyone. They just take your resume and you're just another number in the system.

received a call from some regular joe at TempNow and he had a mouthful of ideas... none relevant or useful... then I took a look at their website and, nothing great either... about 5-6 positions... nothing that pays amazing. wouldn't use them.

JUST STARTED MY ACCOUNT. LOOKING FOWARDED TO FINDING MANY GREAT PART TIME JOB OFFERS.
