El servicio fue muy profesional en mi mudanza de Georgia a Virginia. Roosvelt me contacto por telefono para acordar la fecha y la hora en la que tendria que recojer mis cosas en el departamento, fue muy puntual y muy cuidadoso a la hora de subir las cosas al camion. La entrega fue a tiempo y todas mis pertenencias fueron entregadas sin problemas.
Es una persona muy profesional y respetuosa.

His service was very professional in my move from Georgia to Virginia. Roosvelt contacted me by phone to agree on the date and time when He would have to pick up my things in the apartment, He was very punctual and very careful when it came to moving things to the truck. The delivery was on time and all my belongings were delivered without problems.

Roosevelt Movers were recommended to me by a friend. The owner responded promptly to my phone call and then email with details. The 2 man moving crew showed up at exactly the time agreed on and worked quickly and efficently. They loaded and moved my studio apartment over 20 miles in less than 3 hours. I was impressed with their work ethic and positive attitudes. They wrapped my furniture carefully and I had not damage or complaints. I would absolutely hire them again

When I had called, I had asked for a full service move. I wanted them to pack up the entire house for me. They came two days. One day for the movers to pack up the household essentials not including personal items like clothes and toiletries. A group of about 5 people came to pack and got everything packed and sealed. The next day, actual movers showed up with a truck to pack up boxes. The packers saved me money with their tips. A little bit here and there really does go a long way.

The entire move was handled very well. My items were reassembled. Everything was done on time. I was very satisfied with the move.

When I contacted Roosevelt Moving, LLC, I was looking for a local mover to move a large refrigerator from Herndon to Vienna, as well as move my current kitchen refrigerator into the downstairs. The price quoted by Roosevelt Moving was half the typical quote from the "2 guys/marines/college hunks and a vehicle" services I contacted previously, and Mr. Roosevelt offered to move it the next day!



His team of two men showed up at the pickup location exactly on time, easily loaded the appliance onto the truck and secured it. They met me at my home and surveyed the situation inside the home and determined the most efficient manner to complete the overall job. The price quoted was for 90 minutes, including the transport time. While the job took 15 minutes longer due to the team agreeing to move the oldest appliance (a third one) outside for me, it was more than sufficient to accommodate original request and the additional time was a reasonable, minimal charge. The team even took the doors off of my kitchen fridge since I was not strong enough to get the bolts to budge!



Mr. Roosevelt and his partner were thorough, careful, and courteous. They provided excellent service and were friendly as well. They clearly knew what they were doing as the stairwell was a tight fit and they easily navigated the large appliance without any scratches to the walls!



The frosting on the cake was that after they left the house, they called to say they would return to re-install the doors on the fridge moved to the basement since they didn't have a job immediately following mine - and they did it without a charge! I can't speak more highly of Roosevelt Moving, LLC, and will be calling them for any additional local moving needs as I also like to support local and family businesses.

We are very content with the job. I called Roosevelt a few days ago in the afternoon and I was in a rush because the previous company I had hired cancelled on me pretending that I had never made an appointment. He showed up at my door an hour after we had spoken on the phone. Him and his workers did a marvelous job and they did everything super quick. I had a couple flights of stairs they had to go down since there's no elevator in my building. There were some very heavy coffee tables and sofas and a box tv that seemed too heavy or too big or both and they brought it down the stairs like if it was nothing. I thought I would have to spend a lot of money and it would take all day and night, but they finished everything in less than 4 hours and left no scratches on the wall and no marks. The apartment looked untouched and it was awesome. Now getting to my new house we were stuck in traffic on 495 during rush hour but still everything went swell. Once we got to my new house, they placed all the furniture where I wanted it, and assembled my bed nicely. My now wife (whom I was moving into a house with at the time) was very pleased to have such wonderful movers help us. She loves when everything is in it's place and perfectly set, so she is very picky, but she was so thankful to this company for doing everything exactly as she told them to do. She said she will recommend them to all her friends.

I used Roosevelt moving twice so far. First time was in 2009 when I was moving from Maryland to Virginia. I was referred by a friend. I was very impressed by the speed and effort the guys were putting in. They were wrapping every furniture in blankets, etc. They came on time in the morning, and didn't even really need instructions from me. They just asked if I was ready or had any special instructions, and just got to moving. Admittedly, I wasn't fully prepared for the move, and we had to do two trips in his 24ft truck (It is a big truck, but I had a 5 bedroom house...). We started at 7am, and finished around 10pm that night. That included 6 hours of travel time on friday... across 495.



Fast forward to 2014, and it was time for me to move back to Maryland from Virginia. I called Roosevelt again. He actually remembered me. He suggested that based on the last move, that he will bring two 24ft trucks this time. This way we can cut down on the travel time and finish everything up in one shot. He also gave me a very good estimate on the pricing. We were finished moving by 5pm (495 was backed up again, and it took us 2.5 hours to drive a 50mile distatance...). They guys went the extra mile to move stuff around for us, and assemble the beds before they left.



I told Roosevelt that I hope I never move again... but, if I do, I will give him a call!

I was more than satisfied when I used this company. They made me feel more calm and less stressed as they took care of everything for me. They got to my house on time and were great from the start. At first I was skeptical because they aren't a huge company but I gave them a chance and I am so glad that I did. They did so much work and in the amount of time that was estimated. Roosevelt gave me a rate for 4 hours and I payed exactly what he had told me. I trust this company and if I move again I will definitely call them again.

Him and two other workers helped me move out of a 4 story building with no elevator. They wrapped everything very well and quickly and didn't complain about the long stairs. By the end of the job they took as long as estimated and there were no hidden costs. Everything went smoothly. I can honestly recommend Roosevelt Moving to everyone!

I have moved several times and this was certainly by far the best experience I've had moving. Roosevelt was very courteous and friendly over the phone. I didn't get to meet him but the workers did an amazing job. They moved everything out of my house quickly and only stopped for 30 seconds to get a drink of water. It was very humid out and they still kept on going and didn't slow down. They wrapped everything so nicely and didn't leave a scratch on anything. My bed was assembled nicely.

When they were done with the job they checked the truck to make sure nothing was left in the truck. The payment was easy and I paid what we had agreed on.



I recommend you to use this business, they treat you exactly how you want to be treated.

Had a moving emergency. Roosevelt Moving had two guys at my door within an hour and they were awesome!!! They worked hard, were polite and saved the day! I highly recommend Roosevelt Moving.
