All three doctors that I have seen are excellent, experienced, and very committed to excellence. Dr. Prestegaard, Dr. Saper and Dr. Lake. Dr.Saper recommended the ganglion block which has brought my pain level down significantly. Dr. Saper also performed a block that did help him locate the area in which the pain arrives from. Dr. Presteggard made medication changes that are very helpful to my future steps toward less pain and being able to function again. MHNI is determined to relieve their patients pain and they are very caring..

I have been with Dr. Prestegaard and her team for 15 years. They have always been there for me and stay on the cutting edge of treatments. Most recently I tried Aimovig and it has been very helpful. Thank you so much!!!

Dr. Prestegaard seems very knowledgeable and listens to all my concerns. I like that she sits with me to talk about what is going on. I like that my time with her does not seem rushed. My appointments have resulted in fewer and less severe headaches.

Dr. Prestegaard was very kind, gentle, listen to symptoms, concerns and desperation. She is very knowledgeable in the field and makes s great complete to Dr. Saper send the rest of the medical team.

The doctors here were very through with diagnosing what was wrong and setting me on the right course for treatment. They worked fasted and diligintly to solve any problems that came to be.

Dr. Prestegaard continued to try and find a way to reduce the number of headaches and pain level even when I was ready to give up, she wouldn't. The staff work very hard with getting meds approved by insurances. I wish they had more help as that has to be an overwhelming job. The nurse who admits you and takes your blood pressure is also wonderful.

I have decreased the severity and Frequency of my migraines for the first time in 35 years! I still have them but much better. Staff very good and thorough.

You have been very helpful with info regarding my situation. I would consider my case to be hard to figure out, but Dr. Prestegaard has not given up on me which I appreciate greatly.

I have had a really great experience as a patient of MHNI. Dr. Prestegaard has been really great in explaining my condition and helping find ways to manage my migraines and dizziness. Almost everyone I have encountered has been friendly and helpful.

When it came down to my pain being overwhelmingly difficult, the entire staff at MHNI took an aggressive 'let us get this under control' approach that I needed to validate how poorly I was doing. What had been working in the past was no longer working and the staff made me feel that I was going to get help in a way i was comfortable with and in a way that put me at the centre of my care. It was huge for my condition to feel validated and taken seriously.

The experience was very easy and pleasant. All the doctors and nurses were professionals on the highest levels. Exceeded my expectations! .

Everyone on the staff were sympathetic to my needs. Whether trying to find a medication to reduce my migraine to being excited when the pain was lower. The nurses bent over backwards to help me, spending time with me if I needed to talk, explaining the meds to me for umpteenth time. They were great!!

I was skeptical going in but I actually had a good response to the treatment. I was in the hospital for almost ten days but in that time the staff tried many different types of medicines. They included medicines on the protocol side as well as the abortive side. After trying many different combinations with over 25 different medicines they found one that looks promising for me. I have been very happy with Dr Prestegaard and the staff at MHNI. It is always so nice to know that everyone is looking out for you and they really want to help you with the headaches and all that goes with them .

dr prestegaard has been very thoughtful and mindful about treating my condition and disease, taking into consideration that I was trying to work, raise children and function. When I deteriorated, she increased the intesity of the treatment accordingly and recommended appropriate changes including hospitalization.
