Well let me tell you I do not understand how a business or management thinks is ok for them to tell you they don't have change to give you and just shut the window at the drive thru like it's Ok and expect you to just leave then act like your wrong for wanting your change. Disrespectful children working this drive thru where is the management. This is a business not someone's kitchen. Cook Out needs to get it together.

Ok I have recently been a fan of cookout in Anderson SC due to the fact that I have 3 kids and they are cheap and the food is decent and the milkshakes are great but the last 2 times I've been there something has been wrong! I live 13 miles away so I can't go back there phone number is a fax. I wanted a milkshake on my way home so of course stop at cookout and I usually go threw the drive threw but I ran in real "quick" I waited about 15 min on 2 milkshakes and while I'm waiting there is a man and lady cussing three different workers out because they had been waiting on milkshakes for quite some time and they had already served the ppl that ordered after them but what really ticks me off is after waiting that long and putting up with the incompetent workers they got my order wrong how do you get the order of TWO MILKSHAKES wrong!!! One was peanut butter banana and the other was chocolate PB banana I got PB fudge instead of chocolate PB banana I'm not going back except to get a refund!!

1st - nothing but teenagers in the parking lot making a lot of noise. 2nd - ordering hotdogs & have to pay 49 cents each extra for chili , chili is suppose to come on a hot dog , never been charged for it before. This is stupid, hotdogs with No chili.

a bunch of kids running the late night window that have no respect for the customers nor their job, cussing, and mess up your order. the first year the business was open...super friendly. been going downhill since

I have been to a few cookouts, and this one sets the tone. The employees are friendly and seem happy to work there. Really well run establishment.

Great if you have Kids. Cheap! Decent food for the cheap price. If you are looking for a quite dinner and a steak I don't recommend. Normally alot of kids and teens here. Milkshakes are Great! Tons of flavors. Make sure to order off the Red Trays Menu to get more for your buck. Over all good place for a quick Lunch. They offer a drive thru also.

I am not one to usually write a bad review but after tonight, I hope that someone from CookOut Anderson reads this...Whoever takes the orders at the drive thru needs to pay attention to customer requests.

I for one am allergic to tomatoes and peppers and my body reacts unfavorabley to them. I specifically order my sandwiches with NO TOMOATOES. Half the time, they get my order correct and have to take out the tomato...

Tonight, they COMPLETELY messed up my order when a Chicken Club was ordered instead, I was given a CAJUN chicken. Hopefully for the company, I wil not react to severely to the Cajun sauce they put in the sandwich due to an INATTENTIVE employee....or maybe what they (CookOut) need is for someone to have a serious reaction to a food item that is put on there when they are told not! Maybe that will open their eyes!

We tried Cook Out for the first time today, and it was a good first experience. I like that all of the hamburger patties don't look identical in every burger, its like they are all handmade. The milkshake after dinner was the best part.



I didn't like that as soon as you order one item they call it to the back to be made so there is really no changing your mind. We could have gotten a better price if the cashier would have told us of available combos before hand, but overall it was good food and we will go back.

I'd say DO NOT EAT HERE! I just had surgery on my back, so my husband decided to bring dinner home. He went to CookOut, in Anderson, SC. The order on the ticket was correct, however, the food in the boxes was not. I then tried to call & the number listed is just a fax number. We live ten miles away so returning and asking for a replacement would not have been feasible. SO I would not recommend this restraunt to ANYONE, & surely not a friend!

Terrible... They charge for everything and the prices may seem low but anything you add charge dollar and I got two. A half pound burger is the same size as a quarter pound burger. The place may seem nice but when you get down to it they are a bunch of cheap people who want to rip you off.s money (cheese 80 cents tomatos 10 cents etc.) I ordered a side of chicken nuggets that was a little more than a dollar and ended up getting two nuggets. The quarter pounder is the same size as a half pounder. It may seem nice but they WILL rip you off! Do not go!!!

I ordered an item called a bacon cheddar dog.

What I received was a nicely grilled hot dog with crispy bacon... and NASTY cheese SAUCE that had no similarity to cheddar whatsoever. It was a salty, gooey, artificial tasting mess that I literally had to scrape off the dog before I could eat it. That alone is enough to stop me from going back.

They have a varied menu, lots of options. Hot dogs are NOT boiled, thank you, but griled and very good. The chicken strips are great as is the strips sandwich. GREAT fries, thick and tasty. not thin hard sticks. Service is pretty fast, and prices are reasonable.

I love that you get 2 sides with a combo! Great fries and a surprisingly good corndog (or a quesadilla) with a strips sandwich and a drink for $5! Swap the drink for a shake for $1 more.

The shakes are very thick and rich but lack flavor; I have tried 3 flavors (peach blueberry, cheesecake) and all were weak. If you are gonna bother to do a real shake, make it tasty as well as rich!

Ordering can be tricky, especialy in the drive through. They have gotten my order wrong 4 out of 5 times in the drive thru. Next visit I went in, and told the manager. He offered to comp my meal but I forgot and ended up paying.

Make sure you understand the ordering process and what's included, and go inside to order and you should be pleased.

my first time visiting today and we love it. i order carb free grill chicken and my husband double cheeseburger. kids love nuggets & friends. love that they had low calorie meal for me and meals for my family. very nice staff and clean. now i see why this restaurant so popular
