- Are you looking for a safe place for your children to go after school everyday? Why not check out the Salvation Army's new community center on C Street! With homework help as well as crafts and exciting recreation/games, the community center will be an amazing experience for your kids! Community center membership not only includes everyday tutoring and recreational activities but other opportunities as well! The center features Tuesday Night Music Programs which includes basic instruction for brass, strings, and guitar as well as featuring a children's choir called "The Singing Company." In the future we plan to include piano as well as woodwind instruments as well. The community center is a great place for adults as well. With our full-sized gymnasium we offer a variety of sporting experiences and will soon feature fitness and game rooms. Rates: Daily entry: $1/kids, $2/adultsMonthly Membership: $10/children, $15/adults, $35/family Our facility is also available to rent for private parties, concerts, weddings, and other events.
