I was on a 16,000 mile motorcycle trip and had traveled from Key West, FL to Deadhorse Alaska and on the way back stopped here for fuel before leaving Anchorage.
I spent almost $20 on fuel and was buying beef jerky and several bottles of water yet the store clerk (manager?) here insisted that I pay for ice to put in my Camelbak.
Not only did he want to charge me for it but he had a bad attitude about it.
I could have understood a charge if I just walked in and only wanted free ice, but I had bought a tank of fuel, AND was buying snacks...NOWHERE ELSE in 16,600 miles did ANYONE want to charge me for some ice NOWHERE....
