HIckel Construction is horrible! They he has properties all throughout downtown Eagle River, the Leases are so high that business soon go out of business. The Entire Valley River Center (which used to have Safeway and Payless) is empty except for the Alaska Club. He doesnt care to lower the lease space to let businesses start up there, he is getting money from his contract from Safeway so the building just sits there empty. He owns the Movie theater in Eagle River too, and for 5 years it sat empty because no one could afford to run it with his high lease prices. Future investors and businesses large and small should chose another company for their contruction needs, Hickel is not community oriented has poor ethical values. He does not care about Alaskan Buisnesses, so you shouldnt give his company your buisness.
