Summer service for Anchorage visitors without rental cars who want to hike Flattop Mountain. Roundtrip transportation between downtown and Glen Alps trailhead for $25 includes $2 State Park tax. No guide is needed to hike this popular easy to follow trail. 15-person passenger van departs Downtown Bicycle Rental at 12:15. From 1 pm to 4 pm van remains parked at the trailhead while you hike by yourself at your own pace. Van arrives back downtown at 4:30. Van takes slow scenic route through the university to the trailhead and a different faster route on the Seward Hwy back downtown. Driver points out some sights along the way.
