Southcentral Foundation is a nonprofit health care organization that serves nearly 60,000 Alaska Native and American Indian people living in Anchorage, Matanuska-Susitna Valley and 60 rural villages in the Anchorage Service Unit. Incorporated in 1982, the group is a health care affiliate of the Cook Inlet Region Inc. (CIRI) and operates more than 65 programs. It provides a list of wellness and community health-related services which include dentistry, optometry, pediatric care, emergency care, immunization, obstetrics/gynecology and radiology. Some of its other programs include Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, Alaska Women's Recovery Project and Elder Program.
