Alcan Electrical & Engineering was founded in 1971 when a small group of electricians formed a company that has become a predominant electrical contractor in Alaska. Its experience extends from the North Slope to the Aleutian Islands and from low-voltage wiring to high-voltage transmission lines. The company is capable of start-to-finish electrical installations of any kind, size or technical complexity. Its expertise includes line work, inside building electrical construction, telecommunications cabling and telephone equipment installations. With operations in Anchorage, Alaska, and satellite offices in Fairbanks and Juneau, Alaska, Alcan is one of the only electrical contractors with as much presence in the state.
