I would not ever recommend Alaska Chem Dry to anyone. I made an appointment to have my couch cleaned on a Friday afternoon. I had to make arrangements to leave work early and when I got home AK Chem Dry called to reschedule for Saturday afternoon because their van broke down. AK Chem Dry was suppose to be at my house to clean my couch at 12:30 on Saturday and they never showed up. At 1:00, their tech called to say that he would not be able to make it and would have to reschedule. So we rescheduled for the following Saturday at 10:30 AM. At 11:00 still no one had showed up and I called to find out if they were going to make it. The same tech said he had the appointment scheduled for 11:00 and would be on his way shortly. At 11:30 he called again to say that the machine was broken and would not be able to show up.



That is two Saturdays in a row that I was stood up and my weekend plans ruined because I was sitting around waiting for AK Chem Dry to show up instead of out and enjoying out short Alaskan summer. I would never venture to use this company again nor recommend them to anyone. If you want to you furniture cleaned I would recommend calling a company that actually shows up for their commitments.
