So I called United Air Care to have my air ducts cleaned in my house for $42.00, however the representative refused to clean my ducts because he claimed I had asbestos around my vents. I told him I don't have asbestos and that it's fiberglass insulation. He didn't believe me and told me I had to remove the asbestos, replace my ducts, and in the mean time I should buy a UV light to sanitize my ducts for $600. Coincidentally their services provided asbestos removal and duct replacement! OMG what a godsend thank you United Air Care, wrong!



So after discussion he didn't clean my air ducts. Instead I had a professional asbestos/hazard inspector examine my ducts/attic and confirmed I did not have asbestos and the insulation was fiberglass. Before the representative left I actually asked him how much for the recommended services, $1,800! This company tried to scam me! Please do not use their services, for they will lie and cheat your hard earned money!
