AC stopped cooling. Had a previous bad experience with all star heating and air so I called the AC company with the best reviews in amarillo to come diagnose the problem. They spent 2 hours going through my entire system and found a leaky valve on the unit outside. He said it was probably 1 or 2 lbs low on frion. He wrote up a report and went on his way. I then called warrantee company ahs and they sent all star heating and air. C####n showed up and took the cover off the outside unit. Called his boss who told him to spray water on the unit. When the temperature (obviously) dropped and the load went down he told me it needed to be cleaned and that's why it worked better when he put water on it. I showed him the report from the previous company that came the day before and explained that I had already cleaned the unit with a foaming product and it was obviously clean, spotless. He refused to add frion and insisted they schedule a cleaning. He wanted to charge $150 to spray their superior foam on it. I refused the cleaning and insisted he add frion. I showed him the frion leak(frion oil was obvious, and lots of it) and he pretty much took off running to his truck and took off. He got very nervous when he couldnt get away scamming me. He didn't even put my outdoor ac unit back together!! He was a nice kid but obviously afraid he would get in trouble if he didnt sell the expensive foam cleaning. They do have cheaper frion per pound than other companies but they won't sell it to you without selling the cleaning for $150. They also told me my warrantee did not cover the cleaning so I would have to pay them directly. I later called american home shield to complain and they told me my warrantee does in fact cover cleaning so it looks like all star was trying to double dip on payments. Look for companies with good reviews. Plenty out there. Avoid these guys. Scam artists.

Cheapest around and very timely and polite. These guys called before they arrived, came in, got the work done quickly and correctly, and were out in no time.

I will never use any other company besides this one.

Horrible, unprofessional and never returns calls

Dishonest, late, unprofessional, overpriced, technically challenged. I have used these guys only because my home insurance has no better understanding of their services than the company has understanding of the profession supposedly they are responsible for. The only good review I've seen is from some jerk with the same last name as the owner. What an idiot.

Don't trust the bad reviews, probably just bad customers, these guys rock!

This guy will take advantage of you. Had another HVAC guy check his work to find out that I was over charged and All Star didn't fix the problem. I would not recommend All Star to anybody. Beware!
