The best salon in Alton! All the stylists are wonderful and they carry a variety of great products at reasonable prices. I'll never go anywhere else.

Im new to the Alton/STL area and am looking for a new go-to salon. After setting an appointment with Lewis at Vintage Hair Salon in Alton two days in advanced, I showed up to my appointment 10 min early. Never got greeted or asked my name when i walked in, although many stylists looked over at me. No big deal; they all looked busy. I took a seat and proceeded to wait for 20 minutes past my appointment time, still not a word from my (or any) stylist. The stylist who was scheduled for me (Lewis, the only male) was just chatting with others, glancing over at me once in a while but never a word. I understand if they cant help me right at my appointment time, but at least let me know that you havent completely disregarded my (uncomfortable) visit. I ended up leaving, walking kind of slowly out to see if anyone would step up and try to fix the situatuon. Nothing.



I dont recommend to new clients- seems they strongly prefer the regular locals who are already established customers.
