I received my undergraduate from the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in General Biology, magna cum laude. I earned my medical degree from the University of Maryland school of Medicine andam board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.I have been in practice with Ob Gyn Care Associates of St. Luke's since May 2015. I completed my internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology with Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. I have also been involved in numerous research projects some that include; Penn State Senior Research project where I conducted a retrospective study investigating the relationship of endometriosis and pelvic pain with menstrual characteristics. Short term reseach training program with the University of Maryland department of Ob-Gyn where i investigated the link between phenotypic characteristics of fetuses with Down Syndrome and maternal serum screening results. I was also a research assistant that participated in the Insect Neruology and Hormone Lab, USDA where i assisted in investigating the role of neuropeptides on the prothoracic gland in the gypsy moth. My professional memerships have included the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist, Gynecology Surgery Society, Pennsylvania Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Medical Association- Medical Student Chapter, and American Medical Women's Association- Medical Student Chapter. I am proficient in conversational and medical Vietnamese. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, traveling, cooking and Yoga.
