After ten years and ten different surgeries I had built a strong trust and relationship with Lynn. Then everything changed. He is a liar and when I found out he quoted me the bible. I'm christian, but don't think any doctor should be quoting the bible when you're there to discuss your medical problems. All I can say is thank God for his PA Seth Rubin. My story is too long to long for this forum, so I'll just say he's lucky there are no malpractice suits showing a against him.

It has been a number of years since Dr. Rodgers did my last hip replacement. I do not know how many years I saw him as a patient. But for a long time. He is excellent in taking time - being tolerant of your complaints and seeks to find the cause. He does not hesitate to ask for another doctor's opinion. A 5 star surgeon! Carolyn "Trudy" Sickel I need a good reference for Houston, Texas Cypress Area

Dr. Burg is a good Neurosurgeon. He operated on my neck and replaced two digenerated disks sucessfully.

The problems with Dr. Burg.

1) He is hung up on a patient recooperating on HIS time schedule. He did not want to vary from the 7 weeks of recovery time that he predicted prior to even operating on me. He seems to be working with the Insurance Provider and not the patient.

2) He left a very callous voice message on my home recorder telling me that he would not fill my pain medication any further and told me I was addicted to them. The problem with that is that he did not take into consideration that my initial complaint of severe left shoulder pain, from nearly 3 years prior to seeing him, was still not fixed. And I am NOT addicted to anything. He should called me and talked to talked to me personally about something so important as pain medication. I would have been able to enlighten him on the problem I was still having. He was the 4th Dr. with-in the Orthopaedics Association of North Texas group that I had seen.

He really needs to work on patient skills and understand that just because a patient still has pain after seeing him that it is not a swipe at his skills. He takes things pesonally and needs to get off of the 'time table' mind set of recovery. Every patient is different and their slow recovery is not reflective of his talented hands.

I believe with time, he will come to be a very good Neurosurgeon in all aspects but he needs maturing, time and learn the aspects of grace and professionalism.
