say goodbye to service once they got your money

will never come back to this place again. owner and employees are extremely rude.
Funny how owner blames defective issues of the shoes on costumer but when speaking with ugg company directly they do admit that shoes were defective and are more then willing to send new pair of shoes free of charge.
owner is very short sited. Does he not realize that good costumer service is what brings people and friends back.

Is there a way to enter zero star's?



I didn't think to leave a review at the time; however shopping around to replace the Ugg boats I bought my wife last year, I happen to come back across Shoe Lace Inc. and chuckled to myself. I truly thought I was the only one to have been treated in such a manner. For those that have not read the previous reviews, save your self your time, money and sanity. Once you've spent your money with these people you will soon find they were nothing but wolves in sheep's wool.



They're extremely polite to you and do what they can to serve you until you've made your purchase; however, pray you don't have an issue as I did. My daughter was complaining of dampness in her shoe and I dismissed her as the boot is suppose to be water proof. I decided to give her a hard time and told her she didn't know how to wear them properly and she wasn't having it. I put my hand in the boot and found it was damp. She hadn't worn the boots long and the times she did wear them she treated them like gold. No scuffs or marks besides the ones you would expect on the bottom of the boot.



As I mentioned at the beginning of my review, I chuckled to myself... for my next thought couldn't have been further from the truth. I told my daughter that we'd simply exchange the boot's at the store, they should be understanding. Not only were they not understanding, but out right rude and dare I say it, lazy. The impression I received was they didn't want to do any leg work. I simply asked to exchange the boots as they're obviously defective and my reply was that would be impossible, "they're uggs."



"They're Ugg's," I retorted, what does that have to do with anything. Lemons exist with all products and I have a lemon I exclaimed. After a brief, but exhausting runaround with the gal behind the register I asked to speak with the manager, she claimed to be the manager. After my initial shock, I simply asked for the owner. I was told the owner doesn't speak with customers..... He doesn't speak to his customers, I asked; how has the worked for him so far I? The gal behind the register said, I'm sorry but there is nothing we can do. I mean this woman didn't, no wouldn't take my information and wouldn't give me the owners information. She didn't provide me with any options, seeing this was her chosen profession you'd think she would have some recourse for us unfortunate few; however, this was not the case. I decided to contact Ugg's and was promptly greeted with respect and provided an exchange. I couldn't believe the difference in attitude and service. Ugg's explained that "these things happen," and understood my issue and explained that a new pair would be on their way.



So the moral of the story here folks is A.) DO NOT SHOP AT SHOE LACE INC. unless your in the mood to raise your blood pressure and B.) If you decide to forgo my warning and the other's that have commented here then contact the manufacturer if you should run into any issues with your purchase because Shoe Lace Inc is no help at all!



I DO NOT / CAN NOT RECOMMEND SHOE LACE INC. I WILL BOYCOTT THEY'RE STORE IN HOPES OTHERS FOLLOW SUIT AND THEY SIMPLY GO AWAY....

WOULD NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!!!!!! All the reviews on this place are correct! They have poor customer service. They are so nice to you when you are looking for shoes but as soon as you have a problem with the shoes you bought they will do nothing and I mean nothing to help you. I bought a pair of uggs from them and they are defective and alls I wanted to do was exchange them and they we're no help! So I am now going through ugg and they are more then willing to help me exchange them. I just want to put he word out there not to shop at this store its crap!!!!! I had to give the one star to even write the review, but they don't even get a one star.

Save yourself time and headache and go else where. They are very nice and polite when selling you shoes but if issue rises due to defective shoes not employees or owner of the store wants to help. They will blame everything on you. My wife got me pair of ugg beacon from them and after wearing them 10 times soles of the shoes tore due to moisture not being able to get out (socks have been worn with them). Even after I tried to dry shoes off for 4 days they still stayed wet. It never happened to Any of my previous boots. When we tried to exchange them due to them being clearly defective (what shoes soles fall apart after being worn ten times?) owner of the store never called us back even though he said he would. One of his employees called saying that there is nothing they can do that somehow it was my fault that moisture was stock in the boots. Between owner not calling me back even though he said he would and employee being rude ( telling my wife that she would call police on her just because my wife asked for owners phone number) we will not be coming to this store again. When I told employee (jill) that I would like to talk to the owner because I feel she is being rude her response was ( sir please don't threaten me in don't have to talk to you if you threaten me! my response was how am I threatening you I simply said if you can't help me then I would like to talk to the owner. her response was, that's a threat. As I said no costumer service what so ever when it comes to dealing with issues. The reason we went to the store instead of shopping online is because we like to help out local stores but with this lack of service and miss treatment I will continue shopping online where it's actually cheaper. As I said they are nice when selling you shoes but minute those shoes are sold owner of the store washes his hands off the costumers. Thats why so many small businesses go under they are in it to make a quick dollar. Once they sell you something they don't want to deal with you again and no matter the issue they will blame you for it. Like the saying goes sometimes you have to lose money to make money. I do right by your costumer and they will come back and bring more shoppers with them! I cant believe this store is still in business . between rude employees and owner that does not want to deal with costumer with defective shoes. You will have better costumer service shopping online and not only that you will save some $ as well.any business with rude employees and owner that does not call back should not be supported by any local community.

I had a return but the owner h...

I had a return but the owner had to speak to me first, he was in the backroom so I waited about 15 minutes! I could not believe the trouble in returning an item! No customer service unless you are buying something, if not they are completely rude to you. I will never shop there again.
