Vitality Works has developed a national reputation in the areas of herbalism, acupuncture and massage therapy. Founded in 1982 and based in Albuquerque, N.M., all of the company s herbal preparations are produced at its manufacturing facility. It provides natural products retailers with organically grown products and ethically wild harvested herbs, extracts and formulas. The liquid herbal extract company is owned and operated by Mitch Coven, a practicing clinical herbalist. Coven teaches herbal pharmacy at the National College of Phytotherapy. Vitality Works began as a wholistic health clinic that focused on alternative therapies. All of the company s products have been developed through clinical practice and experience. Vitality Works products are either grown by independent contracted farmers, or are selectively imported under strict standards. The company is a member of the American Herbal Products Association and United Plant Savers.
