Yeah, the thought of having a NEW home was great. We've lived here for 3 years now. There's gunshots in the hills every night, all night long. There's a bullet hole in our garage and holes THROUGH Several neighbor's houses. In recent remodeling we have found garbage and baggies stuffed in light sockets and various "gaps" in our coutertops and shelving. There was no warning of the dust storms..that buried my mother's back and front doors when she first moved in. There's garbage and left over construction material under our rock and gravel. Pieces of the base boards started falling apart in the first year. Some of the houses are missing roofing shingles. A neighbors house (that has been up and occupied for just over 2 years) has sagging in his roof. My advice, question the hell out of the realtors. We didn't know anything about buying a house. And they ate us alive. All they care about is that next payment on their lexus' and BMWs' parked out in front of the office.
