The Division of Cardiology is managed by the Department of Internal Medicine, which is a part of the School of Medicine. The division is responsible for providing care programs for patients with cardiovascular diseases. It specializes in the areas of cardiovascular imaging and prevention. The Division of Cardiology is also engaged in the study and treatment of the disorders of the electrical and conduction systems of hearts. The division manages a heart failure center that offers intensive education, individualized dietary assessment and consulting services. In addition, it administers a women's cardiovascular health program that features cardiovascular risk factor screening and symptom assessment.
