Don't do it! I purchased a groupon, scheduled a date and they didn't show up! I called them, left a message and did not receive a return call. I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing the groupon. I did call groupon and immediately got my $$ back. Horrible businessman.

Do NOT hire them! I had a similar experience. Men showed up, charged me for an additional hour + disposal fees. I had a Groupon, plus paid $65 for the additional hour. I heard them with the blower in the back yard and assumed they had worked. I was on an important call when they were ready to leave, I paid them. The next day I went to the back yard to water and they had not cleaned ANYTHING. I then found out they worked in the neighbors yard and she paid the workers directly $45 to work in her yard. The owner David, came out, said he would send another crew. Call when they were due and said he crew had not shown up so he would need to reschedule. I told him to just send a refund. To date....No Refund and now I know why he never answers his phone. You always have to leave a message. I gave them one star because they did clean the front yard, not very good, but they did rake under a pine tree and remove some cacti.

No showed, finally showed on attempt #2, over priced and didn't even remove the debris i payed them to remove. Owner is rude and won't apologies for his lazy employees.

I bought 2 Groupons for this c...

I bought 2 Groupons for this company. 1 for an hour of tree pruning, 1 for yard maintenance. The owner came out the day I called to look at my property. He told me it might be an additional $30 because it may take longer than the allotted time to remove my weeds. He scheduled my appointment for three weeks later. The day of the appointment I took time off to be home when they arrived. He called 30 minutes AFTER they were supposed to be there to tell me he wasn't going to be able to make it. I let it slide and I rescheduled. I called twice to make sure they would be there on time the next time. They came, but showed up 30 minutes late and with no phone call to at least say they were going to be late. Again, I had taken time off to be there at the scheduled time. The owner came with the crew, told me it was going to be $30 for the clean up (not what he said before). The fine print in the Groupon did mention potential extra fees so I accepted it. My problem was just that it was a different story from the initial consultation.

Regarding the tree pruning, he asked me what I wanted cut from the one tree I have. Since I'm not an expert on how to prune, I just asked them to remove a few branches and let it go at that. Isn't it part of their job to know how to prune a tree? I think they just didn't want to be bothered with doing a full pruning job and wanted to do the least they could. After we discussed the tree, he left the crew here.



Regarding yard maintenance, I only asked them to remove the weeds from my very small back yard. They were done with everything in 45 minutes. They did a great job cutting down the weeds, and cleaned up most of it, but there was still debris I had to take care of myself. They also left debris from the tree pruning in my neighbor's yard. The Groupons entitled me to 2 hours of work. I should not have had to go out there and clean anything; they had plenty of time left. To add to all of this, one of them broke a panel on my gate. They didn't even say anything and they had to know they did it. I called the owner and left a message. It took him two days to call me back because "he doesn't work on the weekends." He rudely asked if I work 7 days a week and I said if a client has an issue or is unsatisfied with my work, then yes, I do. His professional, articulate answer was, "Well.that sucks for you." I asked him to refund my $30 so I could pay my handyman to replace the fence panel his crew broke. He said no. He said he would come fix it because that would only cost him a couple of bucks. I said I didn't care for him or any of his crew to touch my property anymore and that had nothing to do with the services I purchased from him, I should be able to choose how I rectify the problem they caused. We argued back and forth for awhile. He was belligerent, rude, and in the end hung up on me after I told him I would report it to the BBB. I instead called Groupon, and within 5 minutes, I had everything I spent refunded except for the $30 he charged me for clean up. Groupon agreed with me completely and didn't question a thing. I chose not to bother with BBB only because I know they ask how you would like the issue resolved and I didn't want anything else to do with the owner. Plus I got most of my money back when all I wanted was $30. I wanted nothing more to do with someone willing to treat a customer the way he did over a measly $30 to fix damage his crew caused. The services they provided were worth that much. Terrible customer service. A serious lack of integrity on their part. He doesn't value your time and will do the VERY LEAST to get the job done. And even when him and his crew have done something obviously wrong, he will still talk to you like you owe HIM something. Not once did he apologize for the cancelled appointment, being late, or for my fence being broken. There are way too many landscaping companies out there to put up with this type of treatment.

Do not use this service. These guys do not show up to scheduled appointments. I paid 65.00 for them to do hedge and tree trimming. They not only didn't show up, but will not refund me or answer their phones. I will be notifying the better business bureau of their shady business practice.

Artefacto will not respond to ...

Artefacto will not respond to my emails, and I have been unable to get in touch with them on the phone now, which is why I feel like I have no other recourse but to leave a negative review.



Two weeks ago Artefacto Landscapes charged me $45 to replace a small irrigation valve in my front yard. ONE WEEK later, the valve they installed breaks. My wife called and told them about it, but they refused to replace/refund. I wrote them an email about 10 days ago, but have not been contacted by anyone.



I'm out $45 and my irrigation system is still down. As a disabled veteran, I feel like I have been taken advantage of.



I hope this review is helpful to potential customers.
