Provided by YP.comI was passing through Albert Lea w/ my tractor-trailer and needed to go and pick up some medications at the local Walgreens not far from the Petro truck stop. Not only was my driver & cab professional, prompt, & clean - they returned back to where they dropped me off with no reluctance after I accidentally left my phone in their vehicle. A solid option for truck drivers in need of reliable & courteous transportation while in Albert Lea.

Provided by YP.comAs they are the only cab service in Albert Lee they feel they have the right to take advantage of their customers and treat people however they see fit. The vans are falling apart, smell bad and seem to be close to breaking down.
After spending approximately $160.00 with this company, including gratuities, not to mention our friends that spent about the same amount with them, they then decided it was time to SCAM us. We shared a cab with our friends knowing that our hotels we’re just across the road/highway .7 miles apart, and this would make the most sense for everyone involved. For some odd reason Beth our driver from earlier that day decided to ride with Jason the overnight driver, taking up both front seats when they knew they were picking up a group?! It was then when we arrived at our friend’s hotel that Jason, the cab driver said, “okay each couple pays $34.00” I then questioned him and said, “the ride should be $30.00 regardless of the number of people in the van” he then raised his voice and said, “two couples, two stops that’s $34.00 per stop” We ended up getting out of the cab right then and there. Beth, the other employee along for the ride, got out of the car and tried to hug me saying “I’m so sorry about this, I'm so sorry”. We ended up walking the .7 miles, which may not seem like a long walk but after being at an outdoor concert walking all day in the 100-degree heat this was not okay. We were forced to walk through a truck stop at 3 am then across the highway to get to our hotel because they refused to drive us without an additional $34.00. (This would have been $68.00 plus tip for a 15-minute ride) Maybe Beth shouldn’t be going on and on with her stories if she is going to clearly state the $8.00 anywhere in town rule then try to rob paying customers hours later.

Provided by SuperpagesThe taxis can be somewhat dirty looking, and outdated. A few of the drivers can be awkward. But they do what they need to do. The price to me is kinda outragous.
