I am referring to the Jay's Seafood on Stony Gap Rd. The food is awesome, always fresh. It is always fresh because there are so many customers and they keep bringing it out. My only complaint is they do not take credit/debit cards. They do have a ATM, but then you have to pay $2 or 3 dollars.

Food is always fresh and has the best flavor. When u go u always r satisfied. It is seafood at its best!

Southern style food from the buffet is always fresh and tasty. The seafood rivals that of coastal Carolina. Great staff that takes care of you. Always enjoy coming up from Camden SC to visit family and to dine at Jays!

I agree with all gwnwilf2 has written wholeheartedly. Only as a customer, I wish for more and better hours. Then, I do not have to do any work but to show up. What they do and when is done terrifically well.

Jay's seafood on East Main street in Albemarle, NC. Is wonderful! Not much to look at from the decor,but the food and service more than makes up for it.! The food is just what you want, hot, fresh and inexpensive. Try the red slaw. Try the thick flounder. The seafood platter is enough for two people and half the price of similar platters in Charlotte. Health conscious? Ask for it broiled. Good iced tea, which they leave with refills and extra ice on the table. Clean bathrooms. Nice staff. Even the steak they serve is nice,cooked in worsteshire sauce. Yummm. Only open Thursday through Saturday, 4:30pm to around 9pm, so come early!
