Implementing solution actions took two visits due to needing a part, and than was ok. Restoring water dispensing from the frig was not possible without unfreezing the water line in the freezer door which I elected not to have done. Ice blockage of the water feed to the ice maker was removed, however it took days before modest ice production was restored. Tough problem, good effort by two different service technicans to get partial service restored.

I BELIEVE THE SERVICEMAN'S NAME I HAD WAS JIM. He was fantastic! He had an idea what my problem was and before he arrived, purchased a new (smaller) belt was different size than specifications. So far, it's worked out great and I've had no problems what-so-ever! THANKS!

It took 2 weeks to get an appointment when I they did show did not make repair correctly they had to come of course it took 2 weeks for me to get another appointment then they had to order parts another 2 weeks. In all it took 6 weeks to finally get my fridge working. Service was ok but my complaint is it takes so long to get an appointment.

My central AC unit (under a maintenance contract) quit in early July. Sears estimate was to have a repairman look at it on the third of August. I talked them into 22 July (a very hot month). I had an independent repairman look at it and he could not fix it since the proprietary motherboard that controls the fan was fried. I called Sears and told them that. When the repairman showed up, he had not been told what I passed to the Sears number. After a two week delay, it was finally fixed. The repairman was good and nice and ordered the parts as soon as he could get them. Sears management is woefully short in this case. waiting an entire month in the summer to get AC fixed is unsatisfactory. I probably will deal with a local independent in the future. It hurts me to say that as I have always been a big Sears supporter.

Dryer down, not sure who to call besides SEARS so I called them, they were on time, on target with the solution and outta here in no time. Will use them again. Repairman was friendly and informative. That's why we trust SEARS for appliances and repair service--Akron, OH

Last Aug 2015, I purchased a two-year Sear's Protection Plan after it took 4 visits to repair the same electrical problem with my then not even 2-year old Kenmore Elite Dishwasher.
Everything worked fine until this July 2016 when I started having other electrical issues that rendered it useless. They replaced a part this past Thursday but by Friday I was having electrical problems again. Tech came back on Saturday and blamed the power cord or outlet being bad (which they DO NOT replace). I told him I don't agree and would call customer service again. Then he said he would order a different part and let me know when it's in. I think he was just making guesses at what was wrong without proper diagnosis for the right parts. I have had the same tech since last July 2015 and although he is prompt I don't think he knows his stuff especially when he asked how my top rack works. If I didn't have the protection agreement I would have purchased another brand and NOT from Sears..

Serviceman called to confirm arrival time both times he was here. He was polite and efficient, had to order a part, explained what was wrong. When he returned, he did the repair promptly, was tidy, quiet, and our dryer works! Great service.

Our range and refrigerator which needed checked.

We called and scheduled service and were told that we could have one technician come out and do the service call for both items - one repairman, both appliances seemed great.

Over the next several days we got 3 calls to try and reschedule the range repair only and we said we wanted to keep the original service call .

Sears called on the service date to tell us the tech was on the way to fix the range. I asked about the refrigerator was rather rudely ask 'who told you that?' and that ' I have it here in black and white' and that 'they rarely schedule two services with the same tech' but she would check with scheduling - she came back and said he would be doing both repairs - I said thanks for your help.

The tech came and said he was only doing the range - and that there was someone coming at 1:30 to fix the refrigerator. - What?

Then Sears called to reschedule him till this Tuesday. And do I want to re-up my extended warranty?

I was very dissatisfied with my Sears Service on Monday April 18. And, I have been trying to reach a live person since then to discuss my experience but no one has been able to get me to the right person. Your answering service is obviously from India and they were very unhelpful. I then emailed Sears Service on-line and was told they were just on-line support and could not help me. Why cannot I have access to speak to someone who is knowledgeable about my Sears product?? Very frustrating! I called for service on my Kenmore Water Filtration System. He unhooked the filtration system from the water supply, used my paper towels, rolled up the paper towels, wiped out the tubing and then hooked the system back up. He charged me $191.50. I had a 20% coupon which brought the total to $161.70. I am furious about how much we had to pay for this very minimal service. Please call me to discuss at 330-603-4989.
