This store has excellent customer service, the kind you can't get in big box stores. The owner and his family are truly devoted to serving people. This business has been in his family for many years.

This is a great store with a wonderful staff. I get personal service every time I shop there. They try to match the prices of larger stores and have many items that the larger big-box stores no longer carry. You can get anything from a single nut or bolt to a washer and dryer. They have basic hardware or vintage-style brass hardware. The store is in beautiful downtown Aiken in a beautifully restored building. It's my first stop when I need appliances, lawn furniture...RD, Aiken SC

Everyone at the downtown True Value is fantastic! They have multiple times gone above and beyond to match prices of competitors at the BIG box stores. Their service is great and it has such a nice neighborhood-feel long lost with today's super-size home stores. I always come to this True Value store before buying any larger purchases since they will do their best to accommodate. I don't buy appliance anywhere else!

Too pricey and the customer service sucks i will never go back in there again
