Horrible, Rude, Unkind Staff. Very unprofessional. I drove over an hour to adopt a dog with my 2 boys. The manager very very rude, stand offish. I was there with my friend that volunteers at this facility. The way she spoke to this person in front of me was appalling. I also thought the facilty where the dogs were kept was windowless, dark, and Dreary. Ended up leaving going to the Ann Arbor Humane Soceity. I was greeted with a smile. The facility and the staff were very helpfull, courteous and helped us to find the perfect dog for our Family. Where the dogs were kept was clean open, Bright. and Every Dog had there own doggie door to go outside. Would never recommend Lenawee to anyone.

Amazing staff. Clean loving enviornment until precious pets are placed with their new families. You couldn't ask for better.

The staff at the Lenawee Humane Society is loving. They would do anything for these animals! They take in animals that need special care and get them into good homes.

LHS provides the best attention for the animals in their care. The staff is dedicated and the shelter is committed to providing valued services to the community.

This place is amazing, and then staff is wonderful, and they help you with any questions or concerns you have, I've adopted 2 wonderful animals for them, they take great care of the animals that are their, and they give them all the love and attention they need, i'm a volunteer there and I love working with the people and the animals!!
