Been around all types of ATV's but knew nothing about the ARGO! Residing in Central New York, my terrain is very rugged from steep ravines to 3' deep rudded logging roads to swampy, greasy type soil to over 5' of snow in winter. Research led me to the ARGO but WHERE to buy it? Knowing equipment well, I wanted to purchase the machine from a dealership that was very knowledgable on this unit,mechanical operations, limitations, and maintenance.Having spoken to ARGO dealers close to home, I realized they knew little or no more than I did. Searching the internet, I found Tim Schafer at Adair. I traveled 2500 miles to purchase this machine from him. He showed me the machine, tracks, and other accesories inside and out. He lives and breaths ARGOs, treated me and my son like long lost friends. We were able to operate the ARGO in various types of terraine, including his pond. He showed us how various components were built and he is DEFINATELY worth the trip from ANYWHERE! We WILL return again!
