6/24 - purchased used car; asked sales person if the car would pass emissions and was assured yes it would; purchased car "as is" due to that assurance.

7/1/2015 - check engine light on; no driving it

7/4/2015 - sent Ramey's an update through their Internet site (which apparently doesn't function)

7/6/2015 - Took to mechanic 2 minutes from home - spark plugs COVERED with oil, head gasket repaired - 454.00

7/7/2015 - engine light on - back to mechanic - hoping for something simply

7/9/2015 - engine light on - back to mechanic

Was with mechanic for several days

approx 7/17/2015 - mechanic could not do anything - said the dealer should do something about this and it likely needed to go to import dealer

7/20/2015 - stopped by Rameys - had to speak with Ms. Julia Ramey

7/21/2015 - Spoke with Ms. Julia Ramey in person and because I did not call immediately, because I had another mechanic (qualified and willing to discuss what he found with her, he has been in business MANY years) she did not care to do anything about this

I informed her that we were trying to get it fixed and her only statement was "you didn't call me".



This individual certainly did not demonstrate a care or concern for a customer or what I went through. Please be cautious - this is not the first time they have done this - while other people have gone through this, theirs is not my story to tell. However, in today's day and age, we don't need these type of local businesses we need solid and dependable businesses that we can trust.

I purchased a vehicle from these people , and did not even get the vehicle home and the computer hook up at a dealer says that the car is misfireing on 3 out of 8 cylinders and had some badly back yard rigged vacuum lines and the exhaust pipes coming off the motor are crushed . The vehicle does not even provide enough air to cool off the catalytic convertor an is a danger on the road of stopping at any time or catching fire. I was there with my 12 yr old son when I bought the vehicle an they knew that I would be driving the vehicle with him in it the lied and said all was ok with it .

They also went out of the way to disconnect and reconnect the battery to reset and hide the computer error messages an then tell me I am lying when I mentioned what the manufactures dealer found on the computer an the fact that the car did not even make it home.

Avoid this company at all costs , they have no care for any customer or family , all they care for is taking your money an endangering everyone else on the road not only my family.

I also put a call in to the mayor of zion il in regards to this an am awaiting his call back . I will also be contacting the better business bureau in the morning and filing a complaint.

I read that they have also done this to a disabled veteran as well, They told me the same thing as well , oh we did a oil change and tune up an everything is perfect on this car. Also stating that the factory represented dealer is lying about the computer read out.

I myself am disabled an on a fixed income as well, save your money and steer clear of this place at all costs
