decent haircut

i was out running a few errands on a cold windy january saturday morning, and had my gloves and stocking hat on, figured i should stop and get a haircut in town - i needed a decent, neat-looking trim. walked in to richs shop on main street (not located on grandview now), took of my coat and hat, and sat in a chair to wait my turn. there was another guy in the barberchair that rich was just finishing up, so i only had a few minutes wait. in the mirror i noticed i had a "hat-head" from my stocking cap messing up my hair - hopefully he could get it to look decent. the barber, rich, is an older man, was very welcoming, and i sat up in the barberchair. he put a blue cape around me, discussed how to cut it, and started the trim. he carried on an interesting conversation while cutting my hair. after about 10 minutes, he sprayed some kind of lotion on it to wet it down, then put some decent-smelling mousse in my hair, and combed it up neat looking with a good part. he finished it off with trimming the back of my neck with an electric razor, and using some barber powder. after about 15 min, i got out of the chair with the clean cut look, and my hair had a clean smell to it too. the charge was $12 which i thought was reasonable - a barbershop down the street charges $14. the shop is friendly quaint atmosphere and rich does a good job. would recommend this barbershop for others.

i needed a decent trim haircut, it was a saturday winter morning and i was bundled up and running some errands, walked into this barbershop and the barber welcomed me, was just finishing up another guy. i took off my coat and stocking cap, and saw in the mirror that my stocking cap had left my hair all messed up. in only a few minutes, i was in the barber chair. rich, an older guy, was friendly, and we discussed how to cut it. he started the trim and carried on a good conversation. after about 10 minutes he sprayed some kind of lotion on my hair that wet it down, then finished it off with putting some mousse on it. he spent some extra time with a little more trimming and combing it up real neat, with a clean part. my hair had a clean masculine smell to it when he was done. he then trimmed the back of the neck with electric razor, and used some barber powder. after 15 minutes, i had a good looking haircut. cost was a reasonable 12 bucks. would recommend rich as a good barber
