My niece have been with Absolute Dance for 2 years. I love going to the breast cancer fundraiser, A Pink Christmas, and spring recital at the end of the year.

The recitals are fun and well put together. I love that they have concussions and raffles to win prizes like private lessons for the students as well as gift cards for the parents!

Watching her grow every year amazes me! You can tell she really loves what she does!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!

My daughter has been taking dance lessons since she was 4 years old at a recreational level. When she was 8 we realized it was time for her to advance. I searched and searched for the perfect studio and stumbled upon Absolutedancellc.com. They were having auditions for their Allstar team in a couple of weeks. With very little technical training the teachers saw something in her. She was selected to be on the Allstar team and her passion has grown. The first year she learned so much. It was incredible how much she improved in just one year. The teachers are patient and willing to go the extra mile to help all the children. What I love the most is they showcase each child in every dance. Your child always has a special moment to shine no matter what.
The dance family is ABSOLUTEly great! Everyone is willing to help out whether it's helping sew on a button that fell off or carpooling to make sure everyone is at practice. I'm telling you...this is the studio you want your dancer to grow up in!

I quit dancing when I was 10, I had a bad experience with my old studio and decided it was no longer for me. When I turned 12 my best friend kept encouraging me to start at her studio and eventually I decided to give it a chance. Absolute Dance gave me a home to dance when I thought I gave it up. I have made life time friends and the teachers have given me not only lessons in dance but lessons about life that I will remember forever. I continued to grow and become a better dancer than I thought I ever would be. I added more classes every year and I loved every one of them. The teachers love what they do and they share that with each of their students. They focus on each dancer individually and do what they can to better each one. I especially am inspired by our teacher for the younger dancers. Mrs. Jennifer started here a few years ago and she is amazing with the little kids. She is so excited for the kids every time she starts class and the dancers always walk out happier than when they walked in. Jenn, the director, does her best to get to know as many kids and parents as she can personally. I am always impressed with how she talks to every one like she has known them for years. Mrs. Kim I assisted for last year. She is so good at teaching the dancers the emotion and feeling that goes with dance. She is a great choreographer and an inspiring teacher that pushes her students to their very best. I am constantly impressed with Absolute Dance and am so honored to be a part of their family.

Just OK The ballet/tap classe...

Just OK

The ballet/tap classes for little kids are "ok." In her first year, my daughter did not even learn the basic ballet positions, and their recital "dance" has them standing in place the whole time! So much emphasis was placed on the recital dance (for 3 & 4 yr olds) that the time doing tap each week was narrowed down to almost none by the end of the year...and tap is the favorite of most of them (because of the noise, probably LOL).

Miss Jen, the director, taught the 3 & 4 yr olds this year (2010-2011), and she got very snippy with the parents sometimes, then tried to pal around with them afterward...very strange. The class was billed as "fun" for little children, but they only do one fun thing...ride stick horses...every week...oh, and she pretends to tickle their toes during stretching...that's IT for fun. I was expecting lots of pretending and play-costumes at this age. So they didn't have fun, NOR did they learn the ballet positions...

They had a fundraising drive to get the floors refinished over spring break, but the floors did NOT get refinished. Oh, and the floors are not very clean...if a ballet slipper touched a leg, those tights got filthy in the first five minutes of class. The studio is badly in need of more seating in the lobby (get rid of the stupid little coffee tables, stuffed chair and baker's rack, install some cheap wall shelving *up high* for your trophies and pictures, and give us moms -& dancers waiting for the next class- some seats!!) Also badly in need of a GOOD paint job.

The teachers and assistants dress like hobos, (striped gym socks with tap shoes!? holy tights?) but expect the little girls to be properly outfitted in leotard and tights and shoes of certain colors, with their hair pulled back neatly. Sets a VERY poor example.

Although we live very close to this studio, we will not be going again next year. Would rather drive to a nicer facility with professional people staffing it. And maybe she will learn the ballet positions in ballet class somewhere else.

This dance studio offers a variety of classes to all ages. The staff is great and the Dance instructors are awesome. They also offer discounts if you take multiple classes. I would definitely recommend this Dance Studio.
