I've been doing business with Dave for about two years now. He is personable, honest, knowledgeable, and not pushy with sales at all. He knows the lines he carries and a whole lot more. I'm no musician by any stretch, but I am an enthusiast and a strummer, and have been reading about and handling guitars for 40 years. The lines he carries are some of the best in the industry, not the cookie cutter, albeit high quality, high volume brands you'll find in the big box music stores. His offerings are high quality instruments and range from very affordable to high end. He is one of the premiere Larrivee dealers in the industry based on my research, and has excellent relationships with Larrivee and G&L, and can probably get you anything you want. He may already have it in stock!



I never bought a guitar online before I dealt with Dave, but I have no reservations whatsoever in purchasing from him. His photos are usually of the exact instrument you are considering, and are some of the best, detailed, and most accurate I have seen. I find, and he would agree based on our discussions, that the best way of doing business is calling him to discuss what you're looking for so he can tell you real-time what he has, as something up your alley may have just arrived or is on its way to his shop. Unless, of course, you live close enough to visit his store, which looks very professional and gets excellent reviews from his local customers. His prices are truly the best, and his attention to his customers, follow through, and patience are second to none!



I recently purchased a new in-stock Larrivee Lancaser solid body electric from him, and it arrived in flawless condition, not a fingerprint on it, and it was professionally packed inside the guitar case, and between the guitar case and the shipping box. On other occasions, I have bought Larrivee acoustic guitars from his stock (I'm impatient I guess, and he has a lot to offer in stock). All three of them were custom models in the 09 series, well photo documented on his Website, and one in particular on both of his sites (FB and Website) and on Larrivee's Facebook site! All guitars were shipped and arrived flawlessly, as my most recent solid body Larrivee electric. He works hard! He is open 7 days a week, last I knew, and if you order something on the weekend, it will usually go out Monday and you'll have it by the end of the week, if not sooner. His communication is excellent as well, and he will make sure you get a copy of the bill via email with the tracking number.



One other thing. On one of the Larrivee acoustic guitars, he inadvertently sent it without the special Larrivee truss rod adjustment tool. The guitar was a special order he had in stock and may have been shipped by Larrivee without the rod, no biggie. I emailed him or gave him a call, and he followed up and let me know that he spoke with Larrivee, and within a couple of days I had the truss rod in the mailbox, sent by Matthew Larrivee himself out of California! My point is, he has excellent relationships with his manufacturers, excuse me, luthiers, and will go out of this way to make sure things are right and you are extremely satisfied. I will be doing business with him again in the near future, and wholeheartedly recommend him without reservation to anyone looking for a high quality guitar and customer service, especially if they have not bought a guitar on the Internet before.
