living at the met for a few years now…. the hoa fees were suppose to go down and not up and they have gone up by 50% ….all the air conditioning units are connected together and so when one leaks they all do and it is then unfortunate for the person living in bottom unit because it all leaks down… i have had about four leaks now because of other leaks in other units and have had to rip out walls and fix …… this most recent time there was a leak that was suppose to be fixed, but when they came in to fix we discovered there was massive amounts of mold in the walls…. this may be due to the fact that the vents in the units for the washer/dryer area has been sealed off so moisture has been trapped in and low and behold …. you get mold…. i asked if they could fix the problem, and so they started to but then have stopped… i have lots of mold still and did ask if they could take care of the problem if not i would be forced to get legal representation…. they shrugged shoulders as if they didnt care and the problem still has yet to be taken care of…. i have been a healthy person all my life but have been having respiratory problems these last couple of years now and think it may be due to the large amounts of mold that we discovered…. i will be seeing a doctor and have gained an attorney now and will be forced to pursue legal action due to the inconsideration, lack of respect, and well being of my health due to these leaks and sealed vents that i have no control over and should be fixed…. beware!!!
